passionate but Thoughtfull - unexpected but catchy

FIRST GIRAFFE ON THE MOON  is the musical playground of two young and ambitious brothers from Germany. 

Their first EP marks the beginning of a creative journey and is called  "Ancestors."

Heavily influenced by the craziness of MrBungle and Devin Townsend's richness of detail, FGOTM explored their Rock & Metal roots.

The music was mainly written in 2018 but took 19 months of improvement

and self-taught producing to be finished in early 2020.

 

In 2021 and 2022 the two brothers revealed yet another musical facet by releasing three singles in an acoustic-folk style.

 

The second EP "The Stars Look Very Different Today" is the most recent snapshot of an on-going development, reflected in the improved production quality and the growing influence of jazz and progressive rock.

Upcoming releases may try to celaborate the specific style of the first EP's, or sound complety different. Probably both.
